Calling All Crafters!

The St. Helen Festival Doll Booth needs volunteers to help make clothing for our Barbie-sized dolls. If you sew, knit, or crochet, we would love your help with this long-standing festival tradition! For more info or to volunteer, please contact Diane O'Connell: [email protected].

Basket Booth

Picture
The Festival Basket Booth is currently creating baskets and would greatly appreciate any donations you are willing to give. You can create your own basket by yourself, with a group, or let us do it for you. Although each basket is supposed to be worth at least $200 we will combine any size donation with others, so no donation is too small. If you’d like to create your own basket, we have information regarding what baskets have done well in the past. Please contact Elizabeth Gosser (937.231.1298) or Kim Braun (937.470.8220) if you have any questions. Donations can be dropped off at the Parish Office or the School Office. Thank you!

Festival Flea Market

Picture
Donations for the Festival Flea Market can be dropped off at the Smith building during these dates and times:
  • Saturday, May 25 from 10 am–2 pm
  • Sunday, May 26 from 10 am–2 pm
  • Monday, May 27 from 11 am–1 pm
  • Thursday, May 30 from 6:30–8:00 pm
  • Friday, May 31 from 6:30 pm–8:30 pm
  • Saturday, June 1 from 10 am–1 pm
  • Sunday, June 2 from 10 am–1 pm
Top-selling items include craft supplies, mystery garage items, household goods, linens, toys, and home decor–every contribution counts. No furniture is accepted unless it is the size of a folding chair or smaller. Items not accepted include clothing, shoes, mattresses, remodeling tear-outs, lighting fixtures, printers, bed frames, and small engines.

For anyone who would like to help organize and sort donations, sign up at https://tinyurl.com/SH-FleaMarket. This is also a great opportunity for youth that need service hours.

For inquiries, reach out to Jessica Abernathy, the Flea Market Chair, at [email protected] or 937.409.9865. Thank you!

Festival Book Fair

Please remember to save your books for the Book Fair. We will gladly take books (no magazines, textbooks, manuals, medical books, or dictionaries/encyclopedias please). Donated books may be dropped off from 6:00-7:30 p.m, June 3 through June 5, in Room 117 in the school. Thank you to all students and families who are donating books! We appreciate your support! For questions and more information, contact Carol Brown at 937.260.8384.

Pic-A-Prize Booth

Picture
The Pic-A-Prize Booth is asking for donations. We are a booth that caters to the whole family, so we need items that will appeal to all our guests.

We need new and almost new items that would appeal to boys, girls, men, and women of all ages. We will accept tools, household decor, toys, kitchen items, sports items, licensed memorabilia, collectables, hair accessories, personal grooming tools, stuffed animals, baskets, organizers and jewelry.  Also, we will welcome any new and attractive novelty and crafted items. Frequently shoppers think about us as you cruise your favorite stores, garage sales and thrift shops. Please consider donating those household items you are no longer using. Bless you for your consideration and generosity. You may contact Teri Gooch at 937.241.4644.
