Spiritual Direction
|
Spiritual direction simply is an intentional conversation with a trained priest, religious, or lay person about your spiritual life and where you are on the journey. By asking questions and listening a spiritual director accompanies and guides you on how the Holy Spirit is working in your life and where you can grow! Spiritual direction is not psychological therapy nor should it intend to replace such services. Spiritual direction sessions usually are about an hour and happen once or twice a month. When and how spiritual direction looks varies with each director. Some directors ask for a small stipend. If you want to grow deeper in your relationship with God spiritual direction is a great opportunity worth looking into!
