“This sacred tradition, therefore, and Sacred Scripture of both the Old and New Testaments are like a mirror in which the pilgrim Church on earth looks at God, from whom she has received everything, until she is brought finally to see Him as He is, face to face (see 1 John 3:2)”

- Constitution on Divine Revelation, 7.

Encounter God through Scripture!

As Catholics we believe God's love is revealed through both Scripture and Tradition. Whether you are intentionally praying with Scripture or studying it; Scripture is an encounter with that "First Love"
(1 John 4:19).

Reading the Bible 101

Praying with the Bible 101

Ever been confused how the Bible story fits together? Ever try to sit down to read the Bible through and get lost in Leviticus and quit?

Here's your chance to see how the Bible all fits together, through Jeff Cavin's "Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible." This 8-session overview of the Bible will give you the keys to understand how the Bible fits together.

We regularly offer opportunities to dive into the Bible; in person and online too! Check out the dates and times below!

God speaks to each of us through Scripture but have you ever struggled to hear God? This Advent and Lent St. Helen will be offering multiple sessions on how to pray with Scripture, particularly through a ancient prayer form called "Lectio Divina," also called Divine Reading!

This simple prayer form can powerfully transform your life!

    Advent Prayer Sessions

Pray with Scripture this Advent! We will have a couple different times you can pray.
