9:15-10:45 a.m. St. Julie Center
Join us for an engaging week of looking at how various parents and grandparents throughout the history of our faith tradition dealt with difficult and disappointing children, reluctant teenagers, the various trials of parenting, and all the many different joys and delights family life brought them! How did they live holy and meaningful lives in the midst of it all? What can their stories teach us today? We will talk about Mary the Blessed Mother, Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, and St. Helen, as well as several more contemporary holy people, including Enrique Shaw, Dorothy Day and Hildegard Burjan. Be prepared for discussions, prayer, videos and presentations, as well as plenty of sharing and coffee!
