  • Choose “St. Helen” as the primary location that you work or volunteer. (You may also select additional locations)

  • If you do not choose to register for a class at the time of registration, log in using your username and password at a later date.

After attending the class you must then contact Mel McWilliams in the parish office to complete the online background check.  This new procedure will ask you to use your own computer to supply vital information. You will log in to your VIRTUS account and select the "Toolbox" tab.  From there, choose "Selection.com Background Check", a completely secure website.

The parish will be notified when your background check is complete.

Attending the VIRTUS training class, completing the online background check, and remaining current on the continuing education bulletins will be necessary for volunteers to remain compliant with the Decree on Child Protection. Failure to do so will result in suspension of your volunteer status.

For more information please go to www.catholiccincinnati.org and click on “Protecting Our Children.
