2/3/2016

Print Resources are Available starting February 4th.

This year we are happy to offer three different print resources for your Lenten prayer and devotional needs. Copies of each are limited, so please choose only one resource to start. You may take additional copies after the First Sunday of Lent (February 14).

The Word Among Us
Based on the Daily Mass readings, this book includes the readings and reflections for each day, as well as lenten articles and more.

The Little Black Books from the Diocese of Saginaw
These feature six minute meditations on Lenten themes inspired by sacred scripture. These are in high demand!

Rediscover Jesus
This book by Matthew Kelly features 40 chapters, and each chapter is doable in 10 minutes or less. It also includes a reflection point in each chapter, and you can enhance your experience by signing up for the Dynamic Catholic Best Lent Ever program.

There will also be a basket of miscellaneous resources available in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowls Available

The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowls will be available at all doors this weekend, as well. Included in each is a calendar with suggestions to help us be mindful of the daily successes and struggles of our brothers and sisters in Christ. An envelope is included, which should be returned at the end of Lent. There are wonderful resources about CRS and its projects here.
