With Ash Wednesday a quick two weeks away, Shrove Tuesday will be here before you know it!
At St. Helen, we celebrate Shrove Tuesday with a "Feast" before the fasting of Lent. Just like believers in ancient times, who needed to rid their homes of animal products, we rid our homes of the things which we enjoy but aren't necessary.
On Tuesday, February 17th at 7:00pm, we will begin our celebration with Evening prayer in the Church. After the service, you are invited over to the gym to enjoy fellowship, food and some activities for the kids.
How can you help make this celebration happen? You can make a donation or volunteer to help us out day of. Check out the Shrove Tuesday page or see the Sunday bulletin for ways you can help. Remember to call the station chairs or fill out the contact form to let us know you'd like to be involved!
