This Fall we have several great opportunities for growing in knowledge and faith.
On-Site
Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Motheris a DVD-based study series. Presented by Dr. Edward Sri, it explores Mary's life through engaging videography of the Holy Land. There are 8 sessions to this study, and the group meets from 9:00-10:30am on Tuesday mornings beginning September 15 in the Helen Room. Books are available for your use, but if you would like to write in or keep your book there is a small fee. Contact us for more information.
Everyday Sacrament: The Messy Grace of Parenting A delightful group of moms will gather on Saturday mornings to discuss this book. The first meeting is October 17th from 8:30-10:00am in the St. Julie Center (the old convent behind the school). Coffee is plentiful, discussion is fruitful, and babies are welcome. Contact Ellen Garmann to arrange for your copy of the book.
Don't forget about our Book Club that meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 9:00-10:30 in the Helen Room. You can contact the parish office at 937-254-6233 to discover this month's book.
IF:Table is perfect if you love to eat and get to know others better. Done within your own home, IF:Table encourages you to gather 6 people around the table for food and fellowship. Recipes and questions are provided, and you can have them sent right to your inbox each month.
U.S. Catholic Book Club provides a book suggestion for each month. You pick the meeting time, the leader, and the format.
Opportunities Online
The Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF) offers 3 week e-seminars and 5-week e-courses at regular intervals throughout the year. Check out their course catalog for more information. The next cycle begins October 25. The seminars and courses both carry fees. Contact us if a scholarship would help make this more affordable for you.
Online Book Clubs are a great way to connect with others in a meaningful way. Try one of these for women or search for one that fits your needs.
