The philosophy of this program is that parents are the primary educators of their child; that is, they form their child experientially by drawing the child into their own belief and value system as lived day to day. The RE Program supplements that formation by teaching the underlying doctrine that supports the Catholic Christian lifestyle. The RE Program further seeks to extend the child's formation by providing opportunities for worship and service within the community, by integrating the child into a peer community of believers, and by providing additional adult models of faith to whom the child can look for guidance and affirmation.  Parishioners are charged a nominal fee for this program.

The Early Childhood students participate in a religion readiness program in which they discover God as a loving parent and experience God's presence in the world around them. The foundation is laid for understanding religious concepts that help to develop and deepen a relationship with God as the child grows.

Three, four and five year-olds meet during the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday mornings. The program begins in mid-September and extends until early May.
